Introduction The continuing risk of infection with COVID-19 (Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2) has led to intensive discussions in many countries about how different rooms can be used in the future. It should be noted that there will always be a risk of infection in rooms with several people, as transmission of the virus cannot be ruled out without the use of an unreasonable amount of protective clothing that goes beyond mouth-nose protection in everyday life. Viruses can be transmitted between people via three different ways without direct physical contact:
