The Mediterranean diet – which consists of fruits, vegetables, olive oil, grains, and fish.   Now, a new study based on brain imaging in over 400 people seems to show that we have even more reason to celebrate this diet and, more importantly, to stick to it.  Additional data from JAMA shows reduced cardiovascular disease in women consuming a Mediterranean diet.  The Mediterranean diet also impacts diabetes.
