Health authorities in Western Australia have confirmed the measles outbreak across Perth and south-west WA has affected 13 people.  Three babies under 12 months old have been diagnosed as well as seven people under the age of 20.

The outbreak was triggered by a New Zealand tourist whose family was not vaccinated.  One of the most recent cases is a woman who traveled from Auckland to Perth on September 23.
