Eight out of 10 measles cases reported in the Americas this year have been in Brazil, according to the Pan American Health Organization Friday.  Between 1 January and 31 October 2019, a total of 11,487 confirmed cases of measles, including 15 deaths, have been reported in 14 countries and territories of the Region of the Americas, of which 9,304 were reported in Brazil.
