•    During a nosocomial measles outbreak, 10 healthcare workers (HCW) contracted measles.
•    None of the affected HCW had direct contact to the index patient.
•    The economic impact of the outbreak is estimated to approximately 700,000€.
•    The cause of the outbreak was the fact that HCW were unvaccinated.
